Healthy Hair in Less than a week

We girls know that if there’s a way out there to make our hair look better we will try it! Having healthy hair is a universal sign of beauty and there are many products out there aimed for improving our hair. If you’re finding yourself stuck with dry, limp, or damaged hair here are a few tricks you can use that will have you seeing some major improvement in a matter of days.

Don’t use heat products! While this tip seems counter-intuitive to many girls who rely on heat products to make their hair look healthy, it’s actually one of the best things you can do for your hair. For most girls, blow drying, straightening, and curling is a daily part of their hair routine. However the constant heat dries out hair, leaves it fried and makes it dull. While the initial blow dry or straighten might give the hair some temporary relief, the long term results are horrendous. Limit using heat products to a few times a month. If they’re an integral part of your routine, try giving them up one by one. For example, if you blow dry and straighten your hair start by letting your hair air dry. Then as you slowly see an improvement in your hair you can give up on the straightener.

Are you one of those people who frequently skips conditioning their hair? This could be the reason your hair remains dry and lifeless. Conditioning is absolutely necessary for keeping your hair healthy. While it might seem too time consuming or tedious to put conditioner in your hair, it makes all the difference when it comes to your hair’s appearance. You can make the process easier by shampooing your hair as soon as you get into the shower. Wash out the shampoo quickly and put in some conditioner. Leave it in for at least five minutes to get the full effect of the product. Once you start washing out the conditioner you will immediately feel how soft and silky your hair has become. By using conditioner at least 2 – 3 times a week you will quickly start to feel a difference in the texture of your hair. And remember not to wash your hair daily because this will make your hair extremely dry!

Just like we take care of our skin by hydrating, we need to do the same for our hair. In order to hydrate your hair whip up a quick hair mask at home by combining one egg with a tablespoon of olive oil. Leave it in your hair for about 15 minutes and wash it you. By using this type of mask for your hair weekly your hair will become shinier, stronger and less prone to breakage!
