The Summer Guide to Hair Removal

Ladies now that the summer is here there’s one thing lurking on our minds besides having fun and that’s hair removal. A critical part of any girl’s beauty routine, hair removal is often cumbersome, tiring, and time consuming. No one wants to take the time out of their busy routine to spend 15 minutes shaving their legs or waxing their eyebrows. In order to make hair removal easier for you this summer we’ve compiled a list of all the different types of hair removals out there and what their pro’s and con’s are. While nothing will ever make hair removal painless, there are ways to do it that will minimize the time you spend on hair removal and reduce hair growth in the long run. Without further ado, here’s our list.

1. Shaving

Shaving is probably the easiest way to remove your hair but it also lasts for the shortest amount of time. If you shave your legs then you know that the most time you can get between shaves is around 1 week max. Another con of shaving is that the hair grows back pricklier than the last time and is more noticeable. While we definitely wouldn’t recommend shaving as your go to method for hair removal, there’s nothing wrong with shaving occasionally if you don’t have the time or means for another method.

2. Waxing

Waxing is one of the best methods you can use for hair removal. While it is very painful especially for those with more sensitive skin, it’s one of the only methods that will last you for weeks on end and will make your hair grow back finer instead of thicker. You can get waxing done by a professional or you can teach yourself how to do it. Today there are pre made waxing strips available at almost every store that you can easily use at home. They’re around the same price as razors so why not give them a try!

3. Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is by far the most expensive hair removal out there but if you have the money then we recommend doing it 100%. Laser hair removal is the most permanent method of hair removal out there. While in most cases it should last your entire life, it lasts at least 1 – 2 years in even the most unsuccessful cases. We recommend laser hair removal because it will make your life so much easier in the long run. Imagine not having to spend time thinking about shaving your legs for the rest of your life! While it’s certainly pricey it’s worth every penny in most cases!
